Becky Dever Wofford, MA LMFT
Hello, and thank you for stopping by! Choosing a counselor is an important decision, and I would love to answer any questions you might have about me or my practice.
My clinical background includes working at Ridgeview Institute as a case manager, family education group facilitator, and aftercare group coordinator for the women's program, and as the Behavioral Health and Wellness Counselor and Coordinator for Capstone Health Clinic in Marietta, GA.
I graduated from Richmont Graduate University (formerly PSI) in 2008 where I earned my masters degree in marriage and family therapy and completed an internship at Hope Counseling Center.
In 2013 I became a fully licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Georgia, at which time I opened LifeSpring Counseling, LLC.
I live in Cobb County with my husband, Phil, and my two feisty yorkies, Claire and Spike. I have two adult children who are two of my favorite people on the planet. I currently serve on the Atlanta Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy (ACEFT) board as the Chair of Community Connection, and the Clinical Director and co-owner of Apraxis Center in Marietta. I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and serve on the training team in Atlanta. My favorite things to do are reading, baking, working out, spending time with friends and family, and going to the beach any chance I get.
